The Heartspace Medicine Wheel

A transpersonal journey through the Sacred Circle

The Heartspace Medicine Wheel is held as a transpersonal and archetypal framework for exploring life cycles, inner thresholds, and patterns of becoming.

Offered as a five-session journey, this circle supports deep orientation through symbol, embodiment, and imaginal reflection. Rather than being goal-driven, the Medicine Wheel invites relationship — with cycles, inner movements, and the larger rhythms shaping your life.

The journey

The Medicine Wheel unfolds across five sessions, each building gently upon the last. Sessions are usually held weekly, allowing continuity, depth, and integration to develop over time.

Each gathering is oriented to one aspect of the Sacred Circle.

East — Vision & Beginnings

The East invites attention to vision, purpose, and the call of the heart.
This session explores beginnings — not as goals to be set, but as stirrings to be sensed.

Through reflection, imagery, and simple creative processes, we listen for what is asking to emerge and what direction carries meaning.

North — Steadiness & Inner Strength

The North invites stillness, discernment, and inner strength.
Here we explore boundaries, challenges, and the capacity to meet obstacles with dignity rather than force.

This session supports listening beneath urgency, cultivating steadiness and trust in what is required.

West — Healing & Transformation

The West invites descent, release, and transformation.
This session offers space to meet what is ready to be shed, tended, or healed — with humility and compassion.

Creative and symbolic processes support listening to what no longer serves, and what needs care or renewal.

South — Wisdom, Integration & Bringing Gifts Forward

The South invites integration, inner wisdom, and embodied knowing.
This session explores how insight is carried into life — including how personal gifts, creativity, and understanding are brought forward in meaningful ways.

Through reflection and simple art-making, participants are supported to sense how what has been discovered can be lived, not just understood.

Centre — Unity & Integration

The final session is held in the Centre of the wheel — a place of unity, balance, and connection.

Here the directions are gathered and woven together. Through imaginal and symbolic work, participants are supported to integrate the journey as a whole, sensing continuity, grounding, and relationship with a larger field of meaning.

How the circle unfolds

While the journey follows the arc of the Sacred Circle, the work remains responsive and imaginal, shaped by what is alive within the group rather than a fixed curriculum.

Each session is held as a ritual and imaginal space, drawing on:

  • guided reflection and dialogue

  • imagery and symbolic exploration

  • simple creative processes or art-making

  • shared presence within clear and respectful boundaries

The work is approached symbolically rather than prescriptively, with respect for individual pace, meaning, and inner wisdom.

No prior experience with the Medicine Wheel is needed.

Is this for me?

The Heartspace Medicine Wheel may be supportive if you:

  • are navigating a period of transition or re-orientation

  • feel drawn to archetypal or symbolic ways of knowing

  • want to explore life themes beyond linear problem-solving

  • value depth held with clarity, containment, and care

Suitability & support

Heartspace Circles are best suited to those who feel relatively resourced and curious about inner exploration.

While the work is held with care, clarity, and respect for individual pace, these circles are not therapy groups. If you are currently experiencing acute distress, or feel unsure about participating in a group setting, individual support may be more appropriate at this time.

You’re always welcome to reach out if you’d like help discerning what feels most supportive for you.
