WHAT IS KINESIOLOGY?

Kinesiology is a gentle, holistic approach to wellbeing that works with the body’s natural intelligence. Using muscle monitoring, we can identify where stress or imbalance is being held—physically, emotionally, or energetically—and begin to restore harmony and alignment.

Each session is uniquely tailored to you. Drawing on a rich blend of Eastern and Western healing traditions—including Traditional Chinese Medicine, subtle energy systems, physiology, psychology, and more—Kinesiology supports the whole person.

Depending on your needs, a session may include:

  • Acupressure & meridian balancing

  • Emotional stress release

  • Breathwork & guided meditation

  • Ancestral clearing & age regression

  • Chakra balancing

  • Sound therapy

  • Flower & gem essences

  • Reiki & energy healing

  • Affirmations, imaginal processes & movement-based techniques

Kinesiology is a deeply personalised journey—helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom, restore balance, and support meaningful, lasting change.

How Can Kinesiology Support You?

Kinesiology can assist with a wide range of physical, emotional, and energetic concerns. Whether you’re working through a specific challenge or simply seeking greater clarity and balance, this work meets you where you are.

Some of the areas Kinesiology can support include:

  • Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm

  • Fears, phobias, and recurring life patterns

  • Fatigue, sleep difficulties, or low energy

  • Hormonal shifts and mood changes

  • Digestive issues and immune function

  • Focus, learning challenges, or attention difficulties

  • Physical discomfort, pain, or tension

  • Personal growth, goal setting, and life direction

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Many people find Kinesiology helpful for maintaining emotional health, deepening self-awareness, and staying energetically aligned through life’s transitions.

Preparing for Your Session

To get the most from your session, take a few moments to reflect on what feels most present in your life. You’re welcome to jot down any insights or themes to bring with you or include in your intake form.

Reflection prompts might include:

  • What feels out of alignment in your life?

  • Are there patterns—emotional, relational, or behavioural—that repeat?

  • How do you feel about your work, relationships, finances, or sense of purpose?

  • Are there recurring thoughts, dreams, or worries that show up?

  • Do you feel creatively fulfilled or connected to joy?

  • Is there a decision or transition you’re navigating?

  • Are you living in alignment with your truth—or mainly for others?

Kinesiology can help bring awareness to these inner landscapes. Just as physical movement keeps the body strong, regular energy balancing keeps your system clear, resilient, and aligned with your authentic self.

What to Expect in a Session

Your session begins with a relaxed conversation about your health, current experiences, and any goals or intentions you’d like to explore.

You’ll then be invited to lie comfortably on a massage table. Gentle muscle monitoring—typically through your arm—is used to access insights from your body’s energy system. This guides the session, allowing us to work with what your body reveals in the moment—whether that’s insight, release, or gentle realignment.

Each session unfolds organically and is guided by your body’s innate wisdom.

What Might I Experience?

Clients often describe feeling lighter, calmer, or more centered after a session. Some notice immediate shifts; for others, changes unfold gently over time as the body integrates the work.

You may also experience temporary changes such as:

  • Feeling spacey or emotionally sensitive

  • Vivid dreams or emotional processing

  • A need for rest or quiet

  • Re-emergence of old symptoms or sensations

  • Mild detox-like symptoms (e.g. headaches, digestive shifts, fatigue)

These responses are typically short-lived and reflect your system’s natural rebalancing process.

After Your Session

Following your session, allow yourself some quiet time if possible. Staying well-hydrated, eating nourishing foods, and avoiding overstimulation (e.g. screens, intense activity) can help your body integrate the work.

Journaling can also be a valuable tool—especially if a remedy has been prescribed—as it can reveal subtle emotional shifts, patterns, or new insights.

Important Considerations

While Kinesiology is gentle and non-invasive, it can sometimes bring up strong emotional or physical responses. For your safety, please review the following before booking:

Mental Health Considerations

Kinesiology may not be suitable if you are currently experiencing:

  • Bipolar disorder

  • Schizophrenia

  • Recent psychiatric hospitalisation

  • Recent emotional crises (such as suicide attempts or nervous breakdowns)

If you are working through complex PTSD or under the care of a mental health professional, please reach out before booking to discuss whether this work is appropriate for you at this time.

Medical Considerations

Please contact me before booking if you have:

  • A history of stroke, seizures, or aneurysms

  • Serious cardiovascular conditions, including recent heart attack or arrhythmia

Together, we’ll determine what’s safest and most supportive for your needs.

Acute Illness

If you’re experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please rest and reschedule your session once you’ve fully recovered. Your wellbeing—and the wellbeing of others—is always the priority.
